The Department of Education of Anhui Province released the list of 2020’ provincial quality engineering projects for institutions of higher education. A total number of 791 projects of AHUT have been approved. The number hit another record high.
The list covers 3 online excellent teaching achievement awards (1 special prize, 1 first prize, 1 second award), 3 online star teachers, 3 online up-and-coming teachers, 10 courses of excellent online teaching, 1 leading university of the curriculum construction of ideology and politics, 1 demonstration center of the curriculum construction of ideology and politics, 2 teaching teams of the curriculum of ideology and politics, 2 star teachers of the curriculum of ideology and politics, 72 demonstration courses of the curriculum of ideology and politics, 1 demonstration leading base of first-class undergraduate talents, 2 demonstration and experimental training centers, 3 school-enterprise cooperation practice and education bases, 6 innovative projects of "Six Excellence, One Top-notch" training of outstanding talents, 9 teaching teams, 7 star teachers, 4 up-and-coming teachers, 22 online courses, 39 online-offline and social practice courses, 49 offline courses, 3 blockchain technology innovation and application plans of higher institutions, 13 first-class teaching materials (7 for undergraduates, 6 for graduate students), 45 teaching and research projects (8 major projects, 12 key projects, 25 general projects), 6 research projects on curriculum construction of ideology and politics, 3 teaching and research projects of the curriculum of ideology and politics, 30 new liberal arts & new medical research and reform practice projects, 11 teaching and research projects of the undergraduate professional cooperation committee (4 key projects, 7 general projects), 441 undergraduate innovation and entrepreneurship training programs.
The implementation of quality engineering project construction is an essential point for AHUT to deepen education and teaching reform, build high-quality teaching resources, improve teachers' teaching ability and talent training quality. During the period of "the 14thFive-Year Plan", AHUT will closely focus on the construction of the first-class undergraduate education, emphasize the quality of project construction, strengthen the process of supervision and inspection, improve the effectiveness of project construction and play the leading, demonstration and radiation role of quality engineering projects to promote deepening teaching reform and further elevate the level of undergraduate programs construction and talent cultivation ability.
