一、学科简介
冶金工程学科是原冶金工业部于上世纪70年代在华东地区布点设立的冶金类学科，1996年批准为原冶金工业部重点学科，目前是安徽省唯一具有冶金特色的“重中之重”学科，拥有一支高水平、高素质的教学科研团队，其中双聘院士1名，56名教师队伍中有教授22名，副教授19名，其中博导14名，具有博士学位教师44名，以及国内外特聘教授6人。
本学科拥有金属矿产资源高效循环利用国家工程研究中心(联合)、安徽省冶金工程与资源利用重点实验室、安徽省冶金废弃物综合利用工程技术研究中心、冶金减排与综合利用教育部重点实验室、安徽省冶金技术转移中心。本学科近几年承担了各类国家级和省部级科研项目90多项，科研经费4200多万元，还承担了国内大型冶金企业科研项目100余项，科研经费3500多万元。年均发表论文60多篇，获得国家和省部级科技进步奖16项，其中国家科技进步二等奖1项，冶金行业科技进步特等奖1项，二等奖6项。已获授权发明专利20多项。
本学科与美、日、俄、英、法、德等20个国家的科研机构及大学建立了良好的学术交流关系，聘请了多名国外知名的专家学者任兼职教授。冶金工程学科是专业性很强的技术学科，主要研究冶金过程的基础理论、应用基础理论、工艺技术和装备以及冶金资源综合利用与环境保护、过程控制与专家系统、冶金耐火及辅助材料等相关问题。
二、入学资格(Qualifications for admission)
申请人原则上应35岁以下，应获得相关专业的硕士学位，或在bat365旧网址材料科学工程学科攻读硕士学位。申请人应通过bat365旧网址研究生院和国际教育学院的入学评审。

三、培养目标 (Training target for the Ph.Dprogram)
1、博士学位获得者应能系统性地掌握冶金工程学科坚实宽广的基础理论知识，深入了解学科的进展、动向和最新发展前沿；
2、针对冶金科学和技术发展的需要，培养品学兼优的冶金学科的高层次创新型复合人才，具备坚实而广博的冶金理论基础和系统深入的冶金专业知识与技能。
3、熟悉掌握冶金学科国内外发展动态，具有独立从事冶金及相关学科高等公司产品、科学研究和承担专门技术工作的能力。

四、学习年限（学制）
全日制攻读博士学位的学习年限不少于3年，最长年限不得超过6年。硕博连读和提前攻读博士学位研究生的学习年限原则上不少于5年，最长年限不超过6年。

五、课程设置与培养要求(Courses and trainingrequirements)
博士研究生在攻读学位期间应修课程总学分不少于24学分，其中学位必修课14学分，专业课程不少于10学分。另外必修环节（学术活动）1学分。

I. 课程设置Courses requirements:
1. 英文课程（3学分，为英语非母语非官方语言员工设置），英语作为母语或官方语言的员工可申请免修（由员工本人申请，导师考核审查通过方可免修）。
2.汉语语言和中国概况课（由国际教育学院负责设置，11学分），如果员工在注册bat365旧网址前已完成汉语课和中国文化的学习，通过相关证明文件可以申请免修这两门课程。
3. 专业基础课和专业选修课（bat365旧网址留学博士生需修满至少10学分，教学计划由导师制定）。
4. 考试实行百分制，60分合格，不及格者课重修课程，但累计重修次数1门课不得超过2次，1次重修科目不得超过2门。
1. English language course (3credits, for those students coming from the countries where English is nottheir mother tongue or not theofficial language). Those students with English as mother tongue or official languagecan applyforexemption.（The student can be exempted from this courseifthestudent’sapplicationisapprovedby the supervisor）.
2. Basic Chinese andIntroduction toChina (the School of International Education, 12credits). If the studenthascompleted the learning of Chinese course and Chinese Culture beforeenrolled by AHUT, he/she could apply for exemptionfromthese two courses with relevantsupportingdocuments.
3. BasicProfessional Course and Optional ProfessionalCourse (the doctoral candidate in AHUT shouldobtainno less than 10 creditsandtheteaching planshould bemade bythe supervisor).
4. Examinations are implemented by percentage grading system. Pass-marks are >=60 points. If someone fails to pass the test,he or she is allowed to retake the course.The accumulative timesto retake 1 courseshould not exceed twice and the number of courses retaken should not exceed 2 foronce.
II. 培养环节TrainingRequirements:
1. 开题报告
每个博士生在第二个学期的三个月内，在导师指导下完成论文开题报告。
2. 学术活动与讲座（1学分）
每个博士生参加至少10次学术活动。至少做4次学术报告，包括1次国内，2次安工大内，1次自行安排。
3. 论文中期检查
博士研究生论文中期检查由研究生院负责执行，通常在博士生入学第五个学期进行，经过两年的学习，在博士生学习中期，要求博士生做一个20分钟左右的报告，向评审委员会阐述相关研究工作进展情况。评审委员会将决定博士生是否有博士候选人资格，在剩余一年内是否能完成博士工作。
4. 年度总结和下学年奖学金申请
每个博士生应在学年结束前两个月提交年度工作报告和下学年工作计划给研究生院，通过评审后申请下一学年奖学金。
5. 科技论文发表
至少发表或接收2篇SCI索引论文，以bat365旧网址为第一论文单位、博士生为第一作者或第一通讯作者。
6. 学位论文撰写要求
按照《bat365旧网址关于博士公司产品工作的规定》执行。
7. 博士论文答辩
职工博士论文答辩要求和程序按照《bat365旧网址博士研究生学位申请与考核实施细则》执行。
1. Thesis proposal
Eachdoctoralcandidateshould complete thesis proposal under guidance by the supervisor within three months in the second semester.
2. Academic activities and academic reports （1credit）
Eachdoctoral candidateshouldparticipate in academic activitiesforat least 10 times and make academic reportsforat least 4 times including at least oncein China, twice in AHUT and once arranged byonself.
3. Mid-termevaluationofthepaper
Graduate School should be responsible for mid-term evaluation of thedoctoral paper inthe 5th semester. After two-year work,thedoctoral candidateisrequired to make a20-mininuteoral presentation about the progress of the corresponding research workin the middle term of this PhD program. The evaluationcommittee will determine whether or not thedoctoral candidateis qualified forobtainingthe Doctoraldegreeand completethe PhD program in thefollowing year.
4. Annualreportand application for scholarshipfor the next year
Eachdoctoral candidateshould submit annual work report and working plan for the next year to the Graduate School two months before the end of theacademicyear.After evaluation, he/she can apply forscholarshipfor the next year.
5. Publication of scientific papers
Eachdoctoral candidateshould publish/accept at least3papers indexed to SCIwithAnhui University of Technologyas the first affiliation and himself/herself as the first author.
6. Doctoraldegreethesiswriting requirements

7. Doctoral thesis defense
The procedure of Doctoral Thesis Defense for international studentsis the same as that of forChinese students.
